Frosty - our brave Spec Miata race car

On February 22nd 2002, motorsports-exchange.com contracted with Dave Wheeler's Advanced Autosports to build our Miata spec racer.  Dave's shop specializes in race car prep from Spec Miata to Trans Am racers.  They also build race trailers.  Dave already had a good "donor" car available - a southern 1991 base model Miata.  He named her "Frosty," and since it is considered bad luck to rename cars (or boats), we will continue to call this Spec Miata racer by its given name, "Frosty."

For the first 11 years and 160,000 miles of her life, Frosty lived on the streets of South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.  Then Frosty came to Advanced Autosports in Wauconda Illinois to become a brave spec racer.  The following pictures show this miraculous transformation.
