The
MXL is a new, powerful, professional and high-tech gauge which allows
the user to sample a large amount of parameters.
The MXL is
available in 2 different version: MXL Pista and MXL PRO.
The MXL Pista is
equipped with an AMP connector and includes a tachometer, 1 RPM input,
8 analog (6 alarmed) inputs (temperatures, pressures, potentiometers, Lambda sond,
"on-board" and custom sensors), 1 speed input, current gear (either
sampled from an "on-board" gear sensor or calculated from RPM Vs.
speed values), and lap time. Moreover, the MXL Pista is equipped
with an internal built-in clock and calendar for test management.
The
new MXL PRO 05 has the same characteristics of Pista, but with
16 Mb of memory (8 Mb for Pista), 12 analog channels (8 for Pista), 2 Deutsch
connectors
(second is optional and does not ship w/
MXL Pro), 4 speed inputs and a CAN protocol for external expansion
modules.

Simulate the
vehicle's trajectory along the track map

cables (or Binder 719 connectors if making your own). When it comes to
cabling, longer is better. It is always easier to coil-up and zip-tie
extra length than to try to extend a cable run. Especially late at night
